Player Understanding

Player experience at every stage

Product responsibility through Ethan | implementation through Liam's team

First-time understanding

Can a player identify the goal, find the next action and understand the consequence? Onboarding should teach the mechanic without overwhelming the first session.

Flow and feel

Inspect control response, feedback timing, difficulty steps, retry friction and the transition from one round to the next. Rich visuals must not obscure the decision.

What we measure

A testing plan may track task completion, tutorial completion, repeated mistakes, time to first meaningful action and reasons for abandoning a round. These are proposed measures, not fabricated current results.

Close the loop

Connect observed friction to a specific change and retest it. Accessibility and responsible-play review help ensure that a better-performing flow is also understandable and respectful.
